Four-year framework establishes structured pathways connecting qualified public health practitioners with professional opportunities and career development support.

Corona Management Systems (CMS) and the National Association of Public Health Practitioners of Nigeria (NAPHPN) have endorsed a Talent Acquisition Partnership establishing a structured framework to connect qualified public health practitioners with meaningful professional opportunities, and to strengthen workforce readiness across Nigeria's public health sector.

Nigeria's health system continues to face workforce gaps at every level of care, even as the country trains a growing number of skilled public health professionals. The disconnect between available talent and the roles where it is needed most has left many practitioners reliant on informal job searches, while implementing organisations face lengthy recruitment cycles. This partnership responds directly to that gap.

The framework, endorsed for an initial four-year term, is built on four areas of collaboration. The first is the development of a curated talent pool of pre-screened practitioners across disciplines including primary healthcare, field epidemiology, environmental health, community nutrition, health promotion, monitoring and evaluation, and health information systems. The second is structured candidate referral and screening, anchored in NAPHPN's professional oversight and verified membership base. The third is joint career development and professional engagement activities, including recruitment webinars, vacancy dissemination, and sector-focused engagement sessions delivered through NAPHPN platforms. The fourth is capacity strengthening through mentorship programmes, jointly designed training, and competency frameworks aligned with emerging public health priorities.

Under the partnership, NAPHPN brings professional credibility, a verified membership base, and a mandate to advance career and employment outcomes for its members. CMS brings implementation experience across ten countries in health systems strengthening, research, and digital health, alongside a growing need for skilled practitioners able to deliver in complex public health contexts. CMS retains full responsibility for the assessment and selection of all candidates referred under the framework.
